Dear Fashion Cha cha cha,
I found a shirt at my favorite Goodwill last week that had a color pattern the same as the old “Simon Says” game–That game where the four colored light buttons would flash and make a tonal sound and you had to repeat the exact pattern the game gave you in increasing length. A game that though pretty fun, was not as easy as it seemed. I would get better at it for a time and then max out at about a series of ten colors/tones as my short term memory hit it’s available RAM. So naturally, over the pattern it said “Simon says you suck”. Charming. I don’t usually wear “say something shirts” but I’d been feeling kind of punk rock mostly because at that moment I was hanging out with a man called Jahnny Filthe who has knuckle tattoos, knows tools, and goes commando in black Dickies jumpsuits . I needed the shirt. It was only a dollar, but made for a much larger person. So dear reader, what to do?! An easy fix for cotton shirts that are too big is to turn the shirt inside out, lay another cotton shirt that fits you on top of it, trace the sides with a marker (plus a half an inch on each side so that you don’t get marker on your perfectly sized shirt, and so that you have room to sew). Cut. (I usually discard the sleeves, it’s easier) Sew up the sides leaving room so you can stick your arms out. Voila! New, sexy, form-fitted {perhaps asinine or ironic} cotton shirt… “Simon says sew punk”

However dear readers, should you not have time to make these little personal touches on your wardrobe yourself, visit your neighborhood designers or check out these hip cats at Six Foot Owl. They’ll paint you somethin’ nice.
DON’T wear boots and a hat in a matching color that you aren’t wearing otherwise. It looks a little too premeditated and tacky–See again Jahnny Filthe’s photo as he demonstrates the silliness of said matchy-ness, though we hadn’t any teal shoes, so let the socks stand in for shoes, if you will dear readers, fashion creators, life-living air-sucking homo sapiens sapiens ;)

Damn that shirt is rad! I fuck’n LOVE the G.W.! And it’s funny how you mention that wearing those random shirts from the G.W. makes you feel Punk. Every time I wear my old worn out 3-stooges Tee that I got from the G.W. when I was 12- That mutha Tee make me feel Trash-tastic. I get that Fuck IT Punk feeling from most of my GW Threads. Anyways- Love you, Love the Blizz-ogg, and thanks for throwen down some 6f0 Props.
