J Brand “Love StoryWhile some people may think wide leg jeans are just another fleeting fad, they can be a truly versatile addition to your wardrobe.  Wide leg jeans or flares work with everything from a tie-neck blouse for a more dressed up look, to a simple shirt for a casual Sunday afternoon.  With the right pair they can flatter any body type.  I’m a firm believer in J Brand denim, especially when it comes to their wide leg jeans.  I just made the switch from the “Malik” style a more loose fitting wide leg jean, to the dark “Love Story” style as seen on celebrities like Kate Moss, Penelope Cruz, and Lindsay Lohan.  It fits very well through the thighs and flares perfectly through the knees.

My favorite way to wear wide leg jeans is with my platform wedges, a plain white scoop neck t-shirt that’s a little loose, and a black blazer.  It’s laid back yet put together, and can take from the office to late night.
