I don’t profess to know everything about fashion, but I do know what I like and can always spot a trend! That’s what I do! I love a good mix and hate to spend a lot… I am a busy working mom that doesn’t have the time or money to go searching for the perfect pieces - but I want to look good! My friends and I love to find that perfect something and love to share what we find!
Who doesn’t want to look good? Young or old - age is just a number! I like to think in terms of “mental age” - how you feel! Some feel they are forever 21! Even from day to day, we can all have a different mood or feeling… maybe you want to try a new hot look? But how do you make it work for you? That’s where I can help!
Who am I? I started sewing, knitting, and crocheting at 8 years old… Mom said the sewing machine was off limits, but I couldn’t resist! I continued to create and draw through high school for myself and my friends… shopping Sally Ann’s, Goodwill, and my parents closets! Reconstructing outfits, creating prom dresses, and putting on fashion shows! Art classes and school play productions took me through costuming, painting, photography, sculpture, jewelry, glass blowing, you name it!
I continued through college getting a BS in Fashion Design and Merchandising from the University of Hawaii while obsessing over art… working my way through clothing design for 15 years in children’s, men’s, women’s and junior lines… I decided to make the leap to Los Angeles and see where the wind would take me… I am currently working on several lines and websites but always looking for that next great must-have!
This is the best time for fashion… we have so much history to choose from and are given free reign to mix it up and create our own style… it’s that right combination that creates a look… it’s up to you to make it your own… let’s shop the town together!
